MILANOCORE, BRAINSTOPPER (2023)
Handmade frame
Clay, putty, acrylic, metallic chains and print of different street photos I took in milan
34 x 46cm

This artwork was born from a trip to Milan, where my digital camera allowed me to see the city differently, lingering on certain details. Some images struck me particularly for their impactful nature, such as a provocative alcohol poster or a “Extasia” banner hanging in the street. I brought them together in a diptych and framed them with a dark, organic frame to convey this direct and striking side of the city while harmonizing the whole. This work reveals a rawer, more questioning reality of urban life.
